Chamser Kangri, located in the Rupshu region in the east of Ladakh, is at 6622 m the second highest point in the Thalda Kurmi mountain group , which rises east of Lake Tsomoriri at 4522 m .

Day 1.

Arrival at Leh. Easy rest day. Very little exertion. May be light tours around town.

Day 2.

Short walks around nearby places of interest.

Day 3.

Drive to roadhead. About 220km out.

Day 4.

Hike out to trail camp. About 4-5 hour hike. 4500-4700m.

Day 5.

Base camp. 5000-5500m depending on the glacier situation. (water points near campsite.Since glaciers are constantly receding).

Day 6-11.

Setting up high camp (5900-6000m) and summit attempt.

Day 12.

Hike back to road head.

Day 13.


Drive to leh.

Day 14.

Fly out to Delhi

  • Transportation from Leh to Leh while en-route to destinations.
  • Food as per the menu after we leave the road head and back till road head.
