Kedarkantha is a mountain peak of the Himalayas in Uttarakhand, India. Its elevation is 12,500 ft. Kedarkantha is located within Govind Wildlife Sanctuary in Uttarkashi district. The climb to the peak of Kedarkantha starts from a small village called as Sankri.

Day 1

Dehradun to Sankri (1,920 m) | Drive: 8 hrs drive.

Day 2

Sankri to Juda Ka Talab (2,774 m) | Trek: 2-3 h trek.

Day 3

 Juda Ka Talab to Kedarkantha base camp (3,429 m) | Trek: 2-3 hrs.

Day 4

Kedarkantha base camp to Kedarkantha Summit (3,810 m) and back to Hargaon (2,713 m) | Trek: 5-6 hrs.

Day 5

 Hargaon to Sankri | Trek: 2-3 hrs.

Day 6

 Sankri to Dehradun | Drive: 8 hrs.

  • Transportation between manali bus stand – solang, solang to dhundi.
  • Food withing the camp.
  • Tent accomodation solang to dhundi.

  • A male and female (optional) qualified/experienced mountaineering instructors to accompany the group.
